Scouts

As St. James’ Cub Scout Pack # 33, we encourage & teach: reverence for God, Country & the Earth, and respect for our leaders, parents & teachers. We learn responsibility for ourselves & our group. We strive to work as a team, with respect for all, in an environment of cooperation, while having fun.

How boys can join the Cub Scouts.

Go to the Scout Store on Hwy. 41, just North of Park Ave. during business hours & fill out an application. Important to check the box for Boys Life magazine too. Purchase a Cub Scout shirt, hat, neckerchief, slide, book, council patch, Den & Pack numbers. Our Pack # is 33. Den #’s are: 1st Gr. = 1, 2nd Gr. = 2, 3rd Gr = 3, 4 & 5th Gr. = 4. Someone there will help you and answer any questions you have.

Cub Scouts are allowed to wear their uniforms shirts with their school pants on meeting days. Since St James uniform slacks are navy blue, we don’t require purchase of the Cub Scout slacks & belt. Their uniforms all look the same, so it is important to put your child’s name or initials inside everything!

St. James’ Pack 33 meets every other week on Wednesday, directly after school, from 3:15 - 4:15 pm. We will send home a meeting schedule in early September.
